AFSCME Overtime

In accordance with the AFSCME Union contract, dated 7/1/04, hours worked between 35 and 40 per week are to be paid at straight time.

Starting with the payroll of 3/4/05, the payroll system will automatically handle this calculation. Hours over 35 per week can all be submitted as overtime on the Time Report Form or in the Time Report System. The payroll system will pay the first 5 hours at straight time. Hours over 40 will be paid at time and one half.
